Today, I was walking to my friend's house when I noticed a mother walking with her little kid.  The kid (who was maybe 10 years old), said hi to someone walking by.  The lady just looked at her and kept walking.  She didn't say anything.  It was disgusting.  That reminded me of a theory I had thought of a while ago, so I decided that I would intentionally greet everyone I walked by.  I noticed that about half of them reciprocated.  Out of the ones that didn't, most of them just walked by (and I know they heard me), and some looked at me and kept walking.  I also noticed that a lot of people tend to look down at the ground while you walk past them.  I don't know why people do this, but it is pretty bad that people are that anti social.  I wonder why...
